Little Cora is on the move these days....walking everywhere and falling often. She's also quite a talker and has several words that she says, as well as a few signs. Not to mention she repeats most everything we say or do. She's definitely keeping us busy!
Here's a few recent pictures of our "toddler" doing her thing - helping us brush Peeka (can't you tell how much Peeka is enjoying it?!), helping Mom water her plants, her first black eye (I'm sure there will be many more), a little bowling excursion and her first bike ride in Sunriver.

You sure can tell that Cora's daddy wasn't the milkman. She looks so much like Dave in that first picture! What a darling she is for sure.

Cora and the boys

Dave's friends, Scotty, Ryan and Danny, have been taking good care of us this week. We're thinking about asking them to move in long-term! Ryan is currently making us a fancy breakfast and Danny is still trying to find us the perfect Subaru Forrester to purchase.

Salar de Uyuni Tour

Southeast Bolivia is home to the world´s largest salt flats. This amounts to huge expanses of flat land surrounded by snow capped mountains. Big lakes, super dry deserts, and llamas, alpacas and vicuñas everywhere. As you can see from the photos, there are a few interesting things going on here. First, and most notable, is the huge population of flamingos. There are three different species that summer in Bolivia and winter in Chile and Argentina. But what makes it even more interesting is that the salt flats are roughly 14-15,000 feet above sea level. We are way up here. That makes the hills and mountain surrounding the plains almost 20,000 feet. Mt. Everest is less than 30,000 feet. This is home to flamingos? Yep, lots of em.
