Finally....some snow!

We are currently enjoying a few nights in Estes Park, CO and are enjoying the winter wonderland we've stumbled upon. Cold, crisp and....overcast. After 4 weeks of sunshine we were actually pretty thrilled to have some winter weather. Rocky Mountain National Park was beautiful with a layer of snow covering the peaks and then we drove down the scenic byway through Nederland and eventually ended up in Boulder for dinner at the Boulder Tea House(http://www.boulderteahouse.com/). Highlights included dinner with our friends Julie and Howard (and Noah, of course) in Denver and spending the day with our dear friend, Sara Boilen.

We recently had family photos taken in the Columbia Gorge by a wonderful couple who travel around the world with their two kids taking pictures. I just love how they turned out!

Cora and the boys

Dave's friends, Scotty, Ryan and Danny, have been taking good care of us this week. We're thinking about asking them to move in long-term! Ryan is currently making us a fancy breakfast and Danny is still trying to find us the perfect Subaru Forrester to purchase.

Cora Biedel Nelson

We welcomed Cora at 5:41pm on Saturday, July 18th after 12 hours of labor. Thanks to the help of our wonderful doula, Carissa, we were able to stay at home for the first 6 hours of labor. Our nurses and midwife at Kaiser Sunnyside were wonderful and helped Lindsay get through the labor and delivery drug-free. We came home today and are already lost in the world of poopy diapers, feeding and getting sleep when we can. Oh the thrill of sleep deprivation! We'll be in touch when we get our heads above water.
