Disneyland

Why bother with southern California if you don't spend a day at the Happiest Place on Earth? Lindsay's Mom flew in for the day and we met up with her brothers who both live in So Cal. 13 hours later we had covered the highlights of both Disneyland and California Adventure Park....

Hi Lindsay! Diana forwarded me your blog, and I have been keeping up on your adventure! It sounds like so much fun and a great way to transition from Montana to Portland:)It was fun to see your brothers in that picture....I can't believe your "little" brother is so big! Hope to catch up with you when your travels are done. love, Jennifer Nance (Hackenbruck)

We recently had family photos taken in the Columbia Gorge by a wonderful couple who travel around the world with their two kids taking pictures. I just love how they turned out!

Cora and the boys

Dave's friends, Scotty, Ryan and Danny, have been taking good care of us this week. We're thinking about asking them to move in long-term! Ryan is currently making us a fancy breakfast and Danny is still trying to find us the perfect Subaru Forrester to purchase.

Cora Biedel Nelson

We welcomed Cora at 5:41pm on Saturday, July 18th after 12 hours of labor. Thanks to the help of our wonderful doula, Carissa, we were able to stay at home for the first 6 hours of labor. Our nurses and midwife at Kaiser Sunnyside were wonderful and helped Lindsay get through the labor and delivery drug-free. We came home today and are already lost in the world of poopy diapers, feeding and getting sleep when we can. Oh the thrill of sleep deprivation! We'll be in touch when we get our heads above water.
