The Adventures of Dave, Lindsay, Cora and Edie

We left town last weekend for a trip to Joseph, Oregon, where we stayed at our friend's fabulous little cabin. It was exactly what we needed and we didn't want to come home because it was such a beautiful area and incredibly relaxing. While we were there, Cora learned to pull herself up on EVERYTHING. But her favorite new pastime is to climb all over poor Peeka, who is incredibly patient with her new little buddy. Oh and did I mention we got attacked by a deer while we were there??? That's a story that must be told in person so you'll just have to wait to hear it.....(it's a good one!)

and our girl is finally crawling! Not that we were really in a hurry for her to crawl because we knew that nothing would ever be the same - and we were right. She is all over the place and gets in to everything. Next on our list is child-proofing the house.... The pictures are from our friend's pre-wedding hoedown at Silver Falls State Park last weekend. The next night was their wedding and our first night away from Cora. And we survived!

Sunny Spring days in Portland; A visit from Cora's new friend, Rylan Swain, who is a little sweetheart and will be moving to Corvallis in a month (Sorry, the picture keeps uploading the wrong way); and laundry day at our house with our little helper.

big, puffy Easter dresses that Cora will only wear once for the annual Easter Brunch at Grandma TT and Grandy's golf club. Grandma TT supplied the outfit and Cora was a hit with the older clientele. She even tried bacon, french toast and strawberries for the first time. She's quite the eater (and did I mention she already has FIVE teeth?!?).

Cora got to visit the Tulip Festival in Woodburn and loved the colors. A few days later she got her first swim lesson. She had so much fun, she squealed until the whole place was looking. We were in tears.
