Baby on Board

July 23rd is quickly approaching and we're making the most of our final moments as a just plain ol' Lindsay and Dave. The belly is still pretty easy to disguise with a sweater or jacket but that will change soon. For now, I'm enjoying a few more weeks of my clothes before nothing fits and I have to start digging through the huge box of maternity clothes I've already accumulated from friends and my Mom's favorite new past time, buying clothes for me and her first grandchild. Keep 'em coming!
Our 19 week ultrasound is on Thursday so that will make it pretty official when we get to see the little peanut and find out if we have a Dave Jr. or Lindsay Jr. coming our way. We'll keep you posted. And we just hired a doula to work with us through the entire birthing process. We knew she was the right person for us when she said she was from Missoula.
The clouds are finally lifting and our little state of pregnancy denial is coming to an end. This is really happening. Here goes our next big adventure!

What a cute belly! You two will be fabulous parents; and yes, you will get used to life with a 3rd family member. Take advantage of your last few months alone, though!

We recently had family photos taken in the Columbia Gorge by a wonderful couple who travel around the world with their two kids taking pictures. I just love how they turned out!

Manzanita and more...

Since my last post, a lot has happened in our household.  We took our first camping trip of the year to Silver Falls State Park and survived!  Cora even got to try smores for the first time.   Edie turned 1 on June 4th and just a few weeks before took her first ambulance rider to the ER due to an infection - ugh!  She's fine now...thankfully. We figure it's our first of many trips to the ER with two very busy little girls.  (On a side note, Cora thought riding in the ambulance was really fun!) I came down with a ridiculous case of Poison Oak that was awful for about three weeks and continues to haunt me.  It seems I'm quite allergic!  Thankfully, no one else got it.  Dave drove himself to the ER in the middle of the night for an emergency appendicectomy that ended up being (and still is) more complicated than normal because of the scar tissue left in his stomach from the car accident.  That was a few weeks ago and his...
